What an incredible weekend! 🌟
One of our Home and Community Support Services team members had the pleasure of taking one of our amazing participants on a weekend trip to Brisbane, where the focus was on building independence, confidence, and essential community access skills.
Throughout the weekend, they practised navigating public transport, finding their way around the city, making decisions, communicating with others, and developing the confidence to explore new environments. Every experience was an opportunity to learn, grow, and become more independent.
Seeing the progress, smiles, and sense of achievement made the weekend truly rewarding. We are so proud of what they accomplished and look forward to supporting them as they continue reaching their goals.
