Welcome, Dr Ye Wint Kyaw!
Ye graduated from the University of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar in 2019. He worked for two years in the NHS UK at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and another 2 years at Royal Hobart Hospital, gaining valuable clinical experience in various medical and surgical specialities.
Dr Ye completed a Certificate in Palliative Care 2024, and is currently studying for a Specialist Certificate in Palliative Care. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and stages of life and has a special interest in Geriatric Health.

How do you know if someone is having a stroke? Think… F.A.S.T.

The Stroke Foundation recommends the F.A.S.T. test as an easy way to remember the most common signs of stroke. Using the F.A.S.T. test involves asking these simple questions:

📌 Face Check their face. Has their mouth drooped?
📌 Arms Can they lift both arms?
📌 Speech Is their speech slurred? Do they understand you?
📌 Time Is critical. If you see any of these signs, call 000 straight away.
