💫 LET ME REINTRODUCE MYSELF 💫
Hi, I'm Courtney, and I'm the face behind The Movement Room.
I've been working in the fitness industry for over 16 years as both a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. For more than 12 of those years, I've successfully run my own business—starting with a personal training studio before expanding into a 24-hour gym, group fitness classes and online Community programs.
Helping people move, build strength, and feel confident in their bodies has been my career, but more importantly, it's been my passion.
Over the years, my own journey has evolved. As I've grown, experienced injuries, navigated life's challenges, and learned more about how our bodies work, I've developed a deep love for Pilates: both Reformer and Mat.
What started as a time out for me, quickly became so much more.
Pilates taught me the importance of core strength, spinal mobility, body awareness, balance, stability, and moving well for life. It showed me that strength isn't just about lifting heavier weights... it's about creating a body that feels capable, resilient, and supported every single day.
That's why I created The Movement Room.
A private, welcoming space where you can step away from the noise of a busy gym and focus completely on you.
Whether your goal is to build strength, improve mobility, manage injuries, develop better movement patterns, strengthen your core, or simply feel more connected to your body, every session is tailored specifically to your needs.
I offer one-on-one sessions in:

✨ Reformer Pilates
One thing I'm particularly passionate about is helping people who are interested in trying Reformer Pilates but don't yet feel confident enough to walk into a studio class. If you've ever looked at a reformer and thought, "That looks amazing, but I have no idea what I'm doing," you're not alone.
My one-on-one sessions can help you learn the fundamental reformer exercises, understand the equipment, build confidence in your movement, and feel comfortable before stepping into a group class environment. Sometimes all you need is a little guidance and reassurance to get started.
There's nothing I love more than watching someone discover what their body is capable of and helping them move with more confidence, freedom, and strength.
I'm incredibly excited to begin this next chapter and share what I've learned with others.
