The GU Patrol is back for some more work on the electronics. Tidying up the interior to make it electrically reliable and serviceable.

Carried out a rewire of the Cabin electronics including 4x gauges, air compressor, radio and UHF.

Not many photos were taken but the customer can feel confident moving forward they will have no issues.

Good afternoon, had an interesting job on over the past few days here at Lade Automotive. Carried out a custom install for a new client of mine. Installed a light bar, UHF, Anderson plug on his new ute along with a 640ah lithium battery relocation on his caravan along with Redarc BCDC and a complete clean up of his 12v electical system.

Good afternoon, another common problem I've come across in the last 5 years is with Mitsubishi Triton 2.4L diesels with the exhaust manifold cracking.
The new manifold is a genuine revised part also.

Another interesting diagnostic and repair last week. Had a 2016 Mazda Cx-5 with a check engine light and P0401 EGR insufficient flow code. Found the EGR cooler to be completely blocked with carbon and the intake manifold also.

Fitted a new EGR Cooler along with removing the intake manifold, cleaning it, the throttle body, both EGR valves and the intake runners inside the head.

Carbon build up wasn't caused by anything other then normal operation.

Another burnt out starter motor on a 2.2L series 2 Holden Captiva.

The customer was only quoted a new starter motor from another mobile mechanic without knowing it needs a harness aswell or warranty would be voided due to it also being a failure point due to vibration and rubbing on the body of the car.

Good afternoon, another happy customer today with a 2025 300 series landcruiser. Wanted a Redarc tow pro and 2 anderson plugs installed to his brand new vehicle.

Made some custom stainless brackets to mount the fuse block and Tow pro unit firmly behind the dash.
