I didn’t realise how much I needed this kind of joy until I was right in the middle of it. That wonderful, slightly wild feeling of doing something for no other reason than the sheer fun of it. My inner child was very much alive and well in Bali!💙🩵
And maybe that’s the point. We spend so much of adult life being responsible, organised, productive and sensible that we forget there is still a part of us that just wants to play, feel free and do something purely because it brings us joy.✨

💞Of all the beautiful things Bali gave me, these moments with my daughter, Roisin, are the ones I’ll hold closest. Washing elephants, riding horses, crafting together, laughing, talking and simply having the time to enjoy one another without the usual rush of life around us. As our children grow, time together changes. It isn’t always woven automatically into every day anymore, which somehow makes the moments we do have feel even more precious.

🌿Bali reminded me that connection needs space. Space to talk, to laugh, to be silly, to try new things and to make memories that become part of the story we share. And perhaps one of the greatest gifts we can give the people we love is not more things, but more of ourselves. More time, more presence, more moments where they know, without question, that they matter. These are the memories I’ll treasure most.✨💕

🐘Feeding the elephants in Bali was one of those moments that completely pulled me out of my head and into the experience. No rushing, no thinking about what was next, no need to fill the space. Just being there, taking it all in, and feeling my whole body soften.
🌿We’ve become so used to moving quickly and filling every spare moment that we can miss what is right in front of us. Bali keeps reminding me that when we slow down enough to notice what we would normally rush past, something shifts in us. We breathe differently. We feel differently.
