Today was a day that reminded me exactly why I love what I do 💚
I visited one of my newest customers, Liz, to help her set up her very first Thermomix. During our session she told me that she’s 80 years old, which genuinely surprised me!
One of the things I hear so often is:
“I’m too old.”
“It’s just me now, so it’s not worth it.”
Liz proved today that neither of those things have to be true.
After our setup, she found a recipe on Cookidoo®, headed to the supermarket, bought everything she needed, came home, and cooked her very first meal completely on her own.
No phone call for help (although I did offer it if she needed).
No hesitation.
Just the confidence to give it a go.
Tonight I received this photo along with the message that it was absolutely delicious, and that if she’d been served it in a restaurant she would have been thrilled.
That message meant more to me than she’ll probably ever know.
Helping people discover confidence in the kitchen isn’t really about a machine. It’s about creating independence, making home cooking feel achievable, and showing people that it’s never too late to learn something new.
These are the moments that make my heart sing and remind me why I continue doing what I do 💚
If you’ve ever wondered whether a Thermomix could fit into your life, whether you’re cooking for one, a family of six, or anywhere in between, I would genuinely love to help you discover what’s possible.
And if you’d love a career where you get to celebrate moments like this with your own customers, I’d also love to chat with you about joining my team. There really is nothing quite like receiving a message from someone who’s proud of what they’ve achieved because you helped them take that first step 🫶🏼
