Want to see what it’s like in the clinic room with Pete?

This patient came in complaining of ongoing shoulder pain.

In this case, the pain was actually coming from a restricted rib. Pete treated the source of the pain, not just where it was being felt, helping restore movement.

Chiropractic care is about more than just “cracking.” Treatment is tailored to you and focused on helping your body move and function better to get back to feeling your best.

📍Pete is in Malua Bay every Monday, Thursday and Friday. Book an assessment if you’d like to get to the bottom of your pain.

Hip and Low Back stiffness, tightness or pain?

Here are a few of our favourite stretches to take pressure off the back and hips.

If you tend to be in one particular posture most of the day, if you’ve been traveling and sitting in a plane or car for a long time or if you perform repetitive activities that make you feel tight or achy in this area then these stretches are for you!

We recommend holding the stretch or gently move in and out of the stretch for 30-60 seconds, 3 times.

Of course, if you’re unsure if this is right for you, schedule in a session with one of our movement specialists to discuss your unique needs.

Did you know that 1 in 4 Australians over the age of 65 will experience a fall each year?
Falls are one of the leading causes of injury and hospitalisation in older Australians - but the good news is that many falls are preventable.
Balance isn’t something we simply lose with age. Like strength, it can be improved with the right type of training.

At Tidal Physio, we use Reformer Pilates, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Remedial Massage care to help improve the things that matter most for staying steady on your feet:
Balance
Strength
Coordination
Mobility
Confidence

The best time to work on your balance is now ✨
If you’re ready to feel stronger, move with more confidence, we’d love to help.

Think Pilates isn’t for you?
A lot of people assume they need to be fitter, stronger, or more flexible before they start Pilates. The truth is, that’s exactly why we’re here.
Because our classes are capped at just five reformers, we’re able to adjust exercises to suit the person, not the other way around. That might mean using a box for extra support, changing the springs, or giving you a completely different variation of the exercise.

That’s one of the things we love most about our small classes. There’s time to guide, adjust, and make sure you feel comfortable and confident moving.

If you’ve been thinking about giving Pilates a go, our Intro Pass is the perfect place to start.
✨ 3 classes for $65 (t&c’s apply)
✨ Valid for one month
✨ Small group reformer classes

Your feet are the foundation of every step, absorbing and distributing force through the entire body. When foot and ankle function isn’t optimal, it can contribute to issues such as plantar fasciitis, ankle pain, balance problems and even discomfort higher up the chain.

So Pete is showing us some simple ways to improve foot and ankle function at home:
1. Walk barefoot when appropriate
2. Roll out your plantar fascia and calves
3. Practice single-leg balance

PS did you know an ankle sprain, no matter how long ago it happened, can compromise the function at the foot and all the way up to the hips!

Give these exercises a try and let us know which one challenges you the most!
