Noel was a true family man And when he wasn’t spending time with them he loved nothing more than being outside, swimming in the ocean, playing a round of golf, especially enjoying the 19th hole with a Fourex beer - draft only I’ve heard. None of that other stuff.

The best services to remember someone is to try and make sure you tell the stories. The good, the funny and the downright hilarious.

Another lovely inclusion is telling these stories with anecdotes thrown in.

We had some brilliant ‘Pa Sayings’ on Friday. They were made even funnier when his son used Pa’s English accent.

My two favourites were:

“Rush slowly”
“On your way up the ladder in life, don't pull anyone down, don’t stand on any fingers and give a hand up where you can.”

Pa was spot on.
