Mark Flavell shares his experience with prostate cancer and how he came about learning that he had prostate cancer. Mark did not recall having any symptoms, but after a physical for a technical scuba-diving course Mark's blood test required further inquisition. Mark's PSA levels, which is a key determinant of prostate cancer, had risen prompting him to seek professional advice. The initial belief was that Mark had an infection, however after the PSA reading continued to grow Mark was advised to have a biopsy, which confirmed that Mark had prostate cancer.
