Stop waiting for them to change, to apologize, or to finally see your worth. True peace comes the moment you accept your ex exactly as they are—and put them exactly where they belong.

If they were disrespectful, unfaithful, or toxic, putting them where they belong might mean keeping them at a strict arm's length, or cutting them out of your life entirely. You get to decide who earns a spot in your circle. You don't owe anyone access to you, especially if it costs you your mental health. Accept the reality of who they chose to be, set your boundaries, and protect your peace.

Stop waiting for your ex to sit down and give you "closure." The truth is, they are the last person who can give it to you. Here are 4 reasons why that final conversation will never give you the answers you need:
1️⃣ They’ll lie to protect your feelings. They’d rather give you a watered-down version of the truth than deal with the discomfort of your reaction.
2️⃣ They’ll gaslight you to protect their ego. If the truth makes them look bad, they’ll distort reality to make sure they still feel like the "good guy."
3️⃣ They’ll blame you to avoid accountability. It takes maturity to own your mistakes. Instead, they’ll weaponize your flaws so they can walk away guilt-free.
4️⃣ They are incapable of being unbiased. You can’t get an objective perspective from the person actively trying to separate from you.
Closure isn't an exit interview they grant you—it’s a decision you make for yourself. 🚪✨
