Join us at Back on Track Psychology as a placement student and get a behind-the-scenes look at how a private practice operates. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Shadow client relationship specialists
- Assist with social media content and marketing
- Help with admin tasks
We’re looking for someone eager to learn and passionate about psychology. While Mandarin speakers are preferred, everyone is welcome to apply!

What an incredible and important day at Dumplings Against Depression 2025! 🥟❤️
It was genuinely so much fun, but more importantly, it was amazing to be in a space dedicated to such a vital conversation about multicultural care in mental health.
I have to say, the lived experience panel was a massive highlight. Hearing those stories was so powerful and incredibly informative. And then there was the interactive dance session! It was not only a lot of fun (and a great way to break up the day), but I also learned the cool fact that it’s a fantastic activity for dementia prevention.
I also had the chance to connect with some truly wonderful multicultural psychologists. It’s so great to know there are clinicians I can now highly recommend who provide support in Thai, Hindi, and Tagalog. .psych specialised in therapy in Thai, while specialised in therapy in Hindi and .psychology specialised in therapy in Tagalog.
A huge thank you to the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC), the network for hosting this at the Immigration Museum. We need more events like this!
