I’ve been mixing up my morning shakes lately.
I’ll be honest — I was fasting in the mornings for a while. I felt good at first, but over time, I started feeling tired.

Listening to podcasts has been such a gift. This is a gentle reminder to actually fuel my body in the morning — especially as women, because our needs change as we move through different seasons of life.

Today’s blend:
½ banana, dragon fruit, wild berries, organic blackberries + my greens.
Look at that colour 💜
I use filtered water, almond milk, or sometimes coconut milk.
Enjoy the goodness.
And please — enjoy fruit. No fruit fear here. 🍓✨

🌈 Mixed coloured capsicum + tomatoes for antioxidants
🌿 Fresh basil & garlic for flavour and immunity
🌱 Lentils (soaked overnight) for better digestion & plant protein

Good on you Maria!

Meet the amazing Maria an 83-year-old living with Parkinson’s Disease – it is her profound desire to bring joy to others, including those in the exercise class where she’s been lifting weights, throwing medicine balls and doing squats for the past seven years.

For the past seven years, Maria has been seeing an Accredited Exercise Physiologist Dana Van Scherpenseel and taking part in regular exercise classes at Forge in Brisbane’s West End.
