Many people think anxiety is just something they need to manage.

But often, anxiety is a sign that your nervous system has been carrying more than it was ever meant to.

Years of stress, pressure, always being the strong one, pushing feelings aside, or living in a constant state of “what if” can teach the body to stay on high alert.

That’s why simply trying to think positively or push through anxiety doesn’t always work.

My work is gentle, body-based, and trauma-informed.

Together, we explore what may be happening underneath the anxiety, helping your nervous system feel safer and more regulated.

When the body begins to feel safe, anxiety often softens, overthinking becomes quieter, and you can start feeling more like yourself again.

😩 Panic and Anxiety Aren’t “Just in Your Head”
They Can Leave You Exhausted—and Even in Pain

If you’ve been feeling constantly drained, tense, or achy—but all your tests come back “fine”—you’re definitely not imagining it.

Panic and anxiety don’t just show up as racing thoughts or fear.
They live in the body.
And they can take a serious toll.

🌡️ Chronic anxiety can cause things like:

Muscle tension and jaw pain
Ongoing fatigue—even after sleeping
Stomach issues, nausea, or that “sick to your stomach” feeling
Headaches, dizziness, and shortness of breath
That awful “buzzing” or “revved up” feeling—but too tired to move

It’s because your nervous system is stuck on high alert—constantly scanning for danger, even when you’re safe. That fight-or-flight response isn’t just emotional... it’s physical.

And over time, it can leave you totally worn out.

🌿 True healing isn’t just about “calming down.”
It’s about teaching your body that it’s safe again.

If you’ve been wondering why you feel so tense, tired, or sick all the time—this might be why.
You’re not weak.
You’re not broken.
Your body’s just been trying to protect you for a long time.

Just sharing this in case someone else needed the reminder 💛

Feel safer in your body🧡

If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, on edge, or like your body just won’t settle

I want you to know this:
You don’t have to keep trying to figure it all out on your own.

💜Anxiety can feel so frustrating because you might understand logically that you’re “safe,” but your body still reacts as if something is wrong.

Your chest might feel tight.
Your thoughts might race.
You might overthink everything.
You might feel stuck in a loop of trying to calm down, only to feel even more anxious.

This is often because anxiety isn’t just something happening in your mind.
It’s happening in your body and in your nervous system.

And when your body doesn’t feel safe, it can be really hard to think clearly, relax, or feel present in the moment.

That’s where trauma-informed therapy can be different from talk therapy.

👉Instead of trying to force the anxiety away, we gently explore what your body is trying to communicate and begin helping your nervous system feel safer again.

🌟To support you in taking that first step, I’m offering 20% off your first session.🌟

This is for you if you’re ready to understand your anxiety on a deeper level and start building a more compassionate relationship with your body.

To book, simply comment 'Chat', and we will book a time to chat first.

💜 Feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, snappy, and anxious?

You tell yourself to be more patient.
To stop overreacting.
To calm down.

But despite your best efforts, you still find yourself snapping at the people you love, feeling overwhelmed by small things, and lying awake at night with a mind that won’t switch off.

If this sounds familiar, there is nothing wrong with you.

And it’s not because you’re weak or not coping well enough.

Often, anxiety isn’t just happening in the mind.

It’s happening in the body.
In your nervous system.

😬That’s why simply talking about your stress or trying to think positively doesn’t always create the changes you’re looking for.

As a somatic therapist, I help people understand what their body is responding to, release the tension they’ve been carrying, and learn practical ways to calm their nervous system.🧡

The goal isn’t just to manage anxiety.
👉It’s to feel calmer, more present, and more like yourself again.

If that sounds like something you’d like support with, I offer a free 30-minute phone consultation.☀️
