You do make friends with salad! 🥗   Had a few people messaging asking what I put in this salad on my story the other day so here it is:  
- rocket
- spinach
- cucumber
- cherry tomatoes
- pan fried asparagus (oil & salted)
- avacado
- spring onion
- fetta
- lime
- pearl cous cous
- chicken
- bacon
- sauce (mayo & tomato chipotle)

The chicken and bacon was cooked in the same pan, the seasoning was paprika, chilli flakes, salt, pepper, fresh lime juice, thyme and rosemary.

Add any other veggie you can think of, the more the merrier!

So good on a hot summers day, enjoy xx

‘21 things ’21 has taught me.’

The lessons you take from your life, steers you into the person you are today. 2021 has taught me so many things, so here’s 21 of them.

1. Getting out in nature every single day is vital for sanity reasons.
2. Music that is relatable to your life is a game changer.
3. Sometimes the effort you invest into a relationship may not be reciprocated back.
4. When effort isn’t reciprocated back you need to revaluate that relationship and invest elsewhere.
5. Being open, honest and transparent is something you should be proud of.
6. Espresso martinis will never get old.
7. Working at a job you love, won’t actually feel like work.
8. When you feel like telling your friends and family you love them, do it. You never know the last time you may see them.
9. Self-help podcasts really do help the way you think and act.
10. Being open to love after being closed off for ages is a strength, even if it didn’t work out the way you wanted it to.
11. People’s actions have more to do with them and their values than you, even if it directly impacts you.

Ask yourself what lessons you’ve learnt from this past year, truly reflect on the person you were in January of 2021 to the person you are today in January 2022. Be proud of that growth and all the achievements you have had in the last year.

the next couple of weeks are always the busiest time, wrapping up the end of another year. this is your reminder to be kind to yourself. be kind to others. enjoy the present moment. be aware of what you say yes and no to. listen to your body. make the most of the opportunities and experiences right in front of you. spread joy. say I love you to people more. be so fu***ng proud of yourself and all you have managed to go through this year. ❤️

It's been a while since I've written a blog, a lot has been happening to say the least...

“Moving on, ending a chapter, and going forward in life is a necessity to personal growth in our world. This year I have realised that there is more to life than where I am living right now.

I’m not quite sure what the next chapter entails. Where will I be in 3, 6, 12 months? I have absolutely no idea, but I do know I’m open to change, to possibility and to discomfort.

I have had endings this year that have left me heartbroken, but I’ve also had endings this year that have led me to greatness and happiness. Endings are a bittersweet thing, but the reason why endings exist is so that new beginnings can occur.

Be excited of what flows to you and the exciting things that arise with new experiences, people, and things.”

you will outgrow people in your life, you will change frequently, you will evolve into the person that you are meant to be. When this occurs, when you start to change things around you will change alongside you. It’s time to embrace it, it can be sad leaving the old or the comfortable behind but if you want to flourish and be your best self then keep on doing what’s best for you. Change isn’t a bad thing, it’s what we are supposed to do. 🌻
