Support Worker Required – Phillip Island

We are looking for a reliable and caring Support Worker or Independent Worker (IW) to provide short-term support to an NDIS participant during a holiday in Phillip Island.

Dates: 29 August – morning of 6 September
Morning: 7:30 am – 9:30 am
Evening: 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Duties:
• Personal care and morning/evening routines
• Daily living assistance
• Bedtime support
• Person-centred and respectful care

Requirements:
• NDIS/disability support experience
• Confident with personal care
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Reliable and punctual
• First Aid & CPR preferred

We are looking for someone who is calm, resilient, patient, physically active, and confident in implementing Behaviour Support Plans while maintaining consistent boundaries and a person-centred approach.
The role includes:

Female Casual Support Worker

Reliable Community Care is seeking a female casual Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred support to a young female participant in Melton and the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.
This position is a genuine job requirement based on the participant’s personal care needs and individual support preferences, in line with participant choice and control under the NDIS.
Mandatory Requirements
Current First Aid & CPR certification
NDIS Worker Screening Check
NDIS Orientation Modules certificate
Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher)
Infection Prevention & Control certificate
Valid Driver’s Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
About the Role
The successful applicant will:
Engage the participant in arts and crafts activities
Have a good understanding of Autism and be able to recognise changes in a participant’s health and wellbeing
Foster a sense of community through meaningful social and community engagement activities
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for both the participant and them
Support the participant to develop new skills and build independence in daily living
