Stepping onto the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne stage with pure reverence for a legend. 🌹✨

For our performance, Guru Sanchita Abrol (Sanchita Abrol संचिता अब्रोल l) and our dancers poured every ounce of passion into weaving classical Kathak with the immortal charm of Rekha Ji.

At this year’s Indian Film Festival of Melbourne , in warm presence of iconic Rekha ji, Guru Sanchita Abrol (Sanchita Abrol संचिता अब्रोल ) along with her brilliant dance ensemble presented an extraordinary Kathak performance—paying a deeply heartfelt tribute to the ultimate screen diva and Bollywood legend, Rekha Ji. 🌹

Every movement on that stage was a masterclass in grace, rhythm, and emotion. From intricate tatkar (footwork) and seamless chakkars (turns) to expressive abhinaya, the team brought to life the iconic poise, drama, and unmatched charm that Rekha Ji has gifted Indian cinema across decades.
