Your prescription only tells half the story ๐
When we check your eyes, most people expect us to ask whether things have gotten blurrier. But there's a measurement that tells us far more about your long-term eye health... axial length.
It's the physical length of your eye from front to back. As myopia progresses, the eye literally gets longer, and that elongation is what drives up the lifetime risk of serious conditions like retinal detachment, glaucoma and macular disease.
That's why we look beyond the prescription. Monitoring axial length lets us track the actual structure of your eye over time.
If your script keeps changing year on year, come in and let's take a proper look.
