Important Evergreen Update – A New Chapter

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of being heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of Evergreen, I’ve made the decision to step away from the operational side of the business to focus on a new project that I’m incredibly passionate about for Evergreen with the horses.

As part of this transition, Bianca has stepped into my previous operational role and will oversee the day-to-day operations of Evergreen.

Supporting Bianca is our dedicated management team:

Bianca – Client Engagement Manager & Operations Lead
Hayley – Rostering Manager
Neel – Accommodation Manager

Moving forward, Bianca, Hayley, and Neel will be your primary points of contact for all participant enquiries, support worker enquiries, rostering, accommodation, and general operational matters.

I have complete confidence in this incredible team and know Evergreen is in wonderful hands.

Meet Neel Evergreen Accommodation Manager

We’d like to introduce Neel, our Accommodation Manager here at Evergreen Abilities Support Services.

Neel is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive home where every participant feels valued, respected, and empowered to live as independently as possible. She is committed to ensuring our accommodation services are person-centred, compassionate, and of the highest standard.

Today, Evergreen Abilities Support Services would like to honour the life of an incredible woman who dedicated so many years to advocating for people living with disability.

She was a passionate advocate who devoted much of her life to ensuring people with disability had a voice, were treated with dignity, and received the support they deserved. Her compassion, kindness and unwavering commitment touched the lives of so many, and her legacy will continue to live on.

On a personal level, I had the privilege of calling her my friend for approximately 15 years. She was someone I admired immensely, not only for everything she did for the disability community but for the beautiful person she was.

When Evergreen Abilities Support Services first began, she believed in us and in our vision. She recommended participants to our company in those early days, and that support meant more than words can express. I will always be grateful for the faith she placed in us.

Today, we honour an extraordinary advocate, an incredible friend, and a woman whose impact on the disability community will never be forgotten.

From all of us at Evergreen Abilities Support Services, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and everyone whose lives she touched.

Thank you for your kindness, your dedication, and the difference you made in this world. Rest peacefully. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 💙

This NAIDOC Week, Evergreen Abilities Support & Cleaning Service proudly celebrates the rich cultures, histories, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples—the oldest continuing cultures in the world.

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to come together to listen, learn, and celebrate. It is a time to acknowledge the strength, resilience, and wisdom of First Nations peoples, while recognising the importance of truth, respect, and reconciliation.

As a proud Aboriginal-owned business, we are honoured to walk alongside our community, embracing culture, connection, and inclusion in everything we do.

We believe everyone deserves to feel respected, valued, safe, and empowered to live life their way.

We want to make it very clear that Evergreen Abilities does not have company cars. Our support workers use their own personal vehicles when providing services.

If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from Evergreen Abilities in a company car, please be cautious. This is not us and may be a scam.

If you’re ever unsure whether a call or message is genuine, please contact us directly using our official phone number before sharing any personal information.
