This week has given me something I havenāt had in a long time⦠time to reflect.
A few years ago, I started the journey of building this business. This year is the first year where it has all started to come together.
What people donāt always see is that this business wasnāt built in six months. It was built on years of learning, making mistakes, studying, growing up, and slowly figuring out who I wanted to become. When I started, I thought I was just learning about horses. Instead, I was learning how to build a business, how to communicate, how to back myself, and how to take responsibility for every decision I make.
Iāve never walked into a clinic and been told how to treat a client. Everything you see has been built from the ground up. Every treatment, every report, every social media post, every late night wondering if Iām good enough, every course Iāve invested in⦠itās all been part of building something Iām truly proud of.
If Iām honest, if Iād known how hard it would be, I probably would have been too scared to start. But thatās exactly why Iām so grateful that I didnāt know, because everything worthwhile has existed just outside my comfort zone.
Iām still studying. Iām still learning. Iām still discovering where my knowledge can improve. But one thing that has never changed is how much I love what I do.
People always say, āFind a job you love and youāll never work a day in your life.ā I donāt think thatās true. When you love something, youāll probably work harder than you ever have, but youāll wake up every day believing itās worth it.
This slower week reminded me to stop chasing the next goal for just a moment and appreciate what Iāve already built. So if thereās something youāve been putting off because it feels scary, take the first step.
The life Iāve always wanted didnāt appear when everything became easy. It started appearing the moment I became willing to step into things that felt uncomfortable.
