Diary Day 134: PLUGGED IN FOR CHEMO

Yesterday, I had a nurse visit at home. I hugged her too haha no pics tho. My blood was taken and my port is accessed ready for tomorrow. The home nurse wondered why I have double port. She'd never seen one. I didn't know the answer myself but they say double is better as they can do chemo and other drug/take blood if needed. They are definitely handy when I was in ICU. If I can get away with one, it'd save me the double needle (They are tricky to get side by side one time I got jabbed 6 tries before it works lol). I must ask the doctor or maybe it's just the normal procedure?

For my cancer friends, do you get a double port too?
