The Islamic preacher and taxi driver: short story.

An Islamic preacher got into a taxi in London and asked the driver to switch off the radio. He said the Holy Quran doesn’t allow him to listen to music because, during the time of the Prophet, there was no Western music, which he called the music of non-believers.
The taxi driver politely switched off the radio, stopped the car, and opened the door for the preacher to get out. Confused, the preacher asked, “My brother, what are you doing?”
The driver calmly replied, “During the Prophet’s time there were no taxis, no bombs, no loudspeakers in mosques, and no su***de attacks. So please be quiet and get out. Wait for a camel to pass so you can ride it since that’s what existed in the Prophet’s time.”
My question is this: was the taxi driver right or wrong?
