How to put on nasal strips properly (so they actually work).
If your nasal strips fall off, don’t stick well, or don’t open your airways properly, it’s usually not the strip — it’s the application.
Here’s the correct way to put on nasal strips for maximum airflow and hold 👇
🧼 Step 1: Clean your nose properly
Wet a small hand towel and give your nose a good scrub. You want to remove all oil, sweat, sunscreen, and grime. Adhesive won’t stick to oily skin.
🧻 Step 2: Dry and scrub again
Use a dry part of the towel to dry your nose completely and give it one last scrub. Your skin should feel dry and grippy, not smooth or oily.
📦 Step 3: Apply the nasal strip
Open the strip and place it roughly halfway up your nose. Exact placement depends on your nose shape, but halfway is a safe starting point for most people.
✋ Step 4: Press and hold
Once it’s on, press it down firmly and hold for 20–30 seconds. Smooth it over so the medical-grade adhesive can properly bond with your skin.
💨 Step 5: Enjoy the airflow
That’s it. Better nasal breathing, less mouth breathing, and a strip that actually stays on through sleep, training, and daily life.
Apply them properly and you’ll notice a massive difference.
