🤍 Have you ever felt yourself falling apart and wondered what on earth was wrong with you?

🤍 I think most of us have had this kind of experience at least once in our lives

🤍 here’s the thing: overwhelm is not a malfunction, it’s a warning signal and our nervous system doing exactly what it was designed to do……. moving into survival mode to protect us from what feels threatening.

🤍 Racing thoughts. Tension in the body. The urge to escape or shut down. These aren't signs of weakness. They're significant signals.
🌿 Can you relate to this? I'd love to hear.

🌿 A new month, a new verse to sit with.

And what a beautiful verse of encouragement and promise it is.

🌿Not because it says that anxiety simply disappears when we pray, but because we are invited, again and again, to bring our anxious hearts and all of our concerns to our Abba Father, who never leaves us or forsakes us, who promises to comfort us, give us His Peace (that surpasses all understanding) and to help us in all of our troubles. We are never alone.

🕊️ Praying this is a gentle start to the month for you. Feel free to save this one, or share it with others.

Grieving can feel very lonely at times. Many people feel isolated, unseen and unheld during some of their most sensitive times. Some people grieve very quietly.

They continue to work, care for others, show up, smile, and reassure everyone that they're "doing okay."

Their strength is often admired, but it can also mean the intensity and depth of their grief goes unnoticed.

Sometimes, the people who seem the strongest and the most okay, are actually carrying way more than we realise.

A simple phone call. A thoughtful message. Sitting quietly beside someone. These small acts can remind a grieving person that they don't have to carry their loss alone.

If someone comes to mind today, perhaps this is your gentle reminder to reach out.
🤍 Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer is simply our presence.

Healing and restoration isn't about someone having all the answers. It's about having the space to be seen, listened to with compassion, and supported at your own pace.

We're so grateful Penny entrusted us with her journey, and we're honoured to share her kind words.

Faith and professional counselling can resonate beautifully together. 🤍🕊️

For many Christians, reaching out for support can feel difficult. Some wonder if needing counselling reflects a lack of faith. In reality, asking for help is often an act of humility, wisdom, and courage.

At Bethesda Counselling, we offer professional Christian counselling that thoughtfully integrates biblical principles with evidence-informed therapeutic practice. Our approach is compassionate, practical, and always tailored to your individual journey.

Whether you're navigating trauma, grief, relationship challenges, anxiety, or life transitions, you don't have to walk the journey alone.
