With just two weeks to go, we’re getting ready to take part in Lifeline Australia’s 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 on Thursday 10th September! Where we are walking together to shine a light on su***de prevention, raise awareness and show Australians in crisis that they are never alone. 💙

And today, Thursday 27th August, 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁! 🙌

Thanks to the incredible support of event partner National Storage, all donations made today will be matched, meaning your generosity can go twice as far in supporting Australians in crisis.

Vietnam Veterans Day – 18 August

Today we pause to honour Vietnam Veterans Day, commemorated each year on 18 August to recognise the service and sacrifice of Australians who served in the Vietnam War, and to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan.

This evening, a Commemorative Service will be held by the St Marys Outpost of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia at St Marys Diggers Club, commencing at 1700hrs.

Community members who wish to reflect and pay their respects are welcome to attend this formal service.

On Friday 14th August, Kathy and Daniel had the honour of attending the Blacktown/Mount Druitt Memorial Service - a beautiful service of remembrance and thanksgiving for family members and friends who have passed.

It was a privilege to come together with the community, honour the lives of those we have lost and share a moment of reflection and remembrance. 🕊
