Trying out the Medtronic insulin pump and CGMS for the week. This amazing device delivers small amounts of insulin (or in my case saline) through a small tube and connection in my abdomen. The glucose sensor is located in my upper arm which monitors my blood glucose levels 24/7. It reports the data back to the pump for it to make adjustments to the insulin. Amazing technology.
