Our research lead, Prof Vanessa Murphy is going to be on Channel 9 news this afternoon talking about why it's important for women especially to take note of their asthma during hormonal changes of life (eg pregnancy) - we have also recently launched a new national survey to gather the experiences of mothers with asthma in relation to infant feeding. If you've had a baby in the past 12 months and you have asthma, we'd love to hear from you. The link to the survey is: https://redcap.hmri.org.au/surveys/?s=LJPMXAMJFYXDLMKL

Your environment can change quickly. Knowing what’s happening around you can help you stay one step ahead of your asthma.

Pollen levels can rise. Smoke can move into your area. Air quality can deteriorate. And for people with asthma, these changes can increase the risk of symptoms and flare-ups.

That’s why Asthma Australia is partnering with AirHealth and encouraging people to use the AirRater app for timely, localised information about air quality, smoke, pollen and other environmental triggers.

Better information can help you recognise when your risk is increasing and act before your asthma worsens.

Download AirRater and stay informed about the conditions where you are: https://buff.ly/JF6daDD
