Just got back from The Gathering with Nia Australia. This was my first (of many, I trust ). Just a beautiful time to reconnect with “old” friends and make new ones in this gorgeous community. Thank you Sophie Marsh. Nia WellBeing and the rest of the amazing committee for putting together an experience that words cannot adequately describe. My heart is full, my spirit soaring.

This is so true. We joke that “I’m a better person when I’ve been dancing “, but it’s not a joke. Mia brings me back to the best (most loving, generous, calm , patient) version of myself. I am sometimes being accused of being selfish when I prioritise my training or dancing over time with family, but that’s not the whole story and Lewis has just explained it so beautifully.

Feeling so blessed to have danced with my dear long time friend, Svenja, in my own garden yesterday. What a way to start the day! I haven’t seen Svenja for 15 years when she planted the seed (“Kerrin, you need to come dance with me”). I’ve only been dancing Nia a few years (4ish), but she put me on the path that led me to Helene Purcell and I am so grateful!
