💙 Celebrating Service and Commitment 💙

Lives changed through early intervention 💙

The first years of a child's life can shape their future in extraordinary ways. For 45 years, Gateways has supported children and families through early intervention, helping build confidence, communication skills, independence and connection.

At Gateways, we remain committed to advocating for people with disability and ensuring they can continue to access the services they need to live fulfilling and connected lives.

Our CEO Rohan Braddy recently had the opportunity to meet with and speak to Minister Jenny McAllister and Libby Coker MP and appreciate their willingness to listen to the experiences and concerns being shared by the Gateways community.

While we know there is uncertainty for some clients, as changes occur across the NDIS, we are encouraged by the Minister's assurance that people with the most significant support needs, including those requiring 24-hour support, will continue to receive the services they need.

Strong advocacy and open dialogue are essential to ensuring the NDIS continues to support those who rely on it most. Gateways looks forward to working constructively with the Minister, and the Government to help shape outcomes that deliver certainty, quality support and positive futures for people with disability and their families.

What started with one courageous step has grown into a program that meets people where they are, building confidence, connection, and new possibilities every day. Because for 45 years, Gateways has listened, and created new paths forward, together.

🎨 Celebrating Art, connection & community!

Yesterday, we were thrilled to welcome over 100 guests for a wonderful morning exploring the Impressionists Exhibition at Geelong Gallery, taking in the beauty, colour and creativity of this iconic artistic movement. It was a great opportunity to slow down, connect, and share in the experience together.

We then continued the conversation over a delicious two-course lunch at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, with stunning waterfront views to top it all off, while also raising important funds to support Gateways in improving spaces, strengthening programs, and creating new opportunities across our services.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special day of art and connection all whilst raising over $6000 of much needed funds to help support our community.
