Loneliness isn't about being alone.
Rather, it's often about the quality of the relationships you have.
Have you ever noticed that sometimes you can be surrounded by people and still feel deeply lonely?
That's because loneliness isn't about the number of conversations you have or how many people are around you.
It's about how connected you feel.
Whether you feel understood.
Whether you feel seen and heard.
And whether you feel emotionally safe enough to be vulnerable.
Being connected also isn't about constant communication or having perfect relationships.
It's not the ongoing banter you might see in sitcoms or seeing someone every single day.
Instead, it's about authenticity, compassion, mutual respect, emotional availability, and the freedom to be yourself without fear of judgement.
