The ingredient list can tell you far more about what's really in your dog's food than the flashy claims on the front of the packaging.

✅ Look for clearly named animal proteins.
✅ Learn to spot vague ingredient descriptions.
✅ Be aware of ingredient splitting.

Did you know that how you prepare your dog's wholefoods can be just as important as what you feed? 🥦🧄

Simple preparation techniques—like letting crushed garlic sit for 10 minutes before feeding or finely chopping broccoli and allowing it to rest for 40 minutes before lightly steaming—can help preserve beneficial plant compounds that support overall health.

One important note: Garlic should only ever be fed in appropriate amounts
