Recently, Better Homes and Gardens TV, along with Hephner the Alpaca, visited our very excited residents at Bundanoon, filming a segment for the show! 🎥

Our residents loved meeting Hephner, giving him lots of hugs and pats, as well as finding out more about alpacas from Dr Harry. 🦙

There was certainly a buzz within the home that added to the warmth and joy of life at Warrigal Bundanoon. 💛

There was no shortage of dance moves and cheers as the festivities continued on Tuesday at our Southern Service Awards, recognising the incredible service milestones achieved this year! 🎉

This fabulous day brought together Jenni Hutchins, our CEO, Nicky Sloan, a Director of our Board, our Executive team, staff members and their families at the Hellenic Club of Canberra.

Happy 90th Birthday Stuart! 🥳

Earlier this month, Stuart, one of our valued Goulburn residents, turned 90 – and what a fabulous celebration it was!

50 of Stuart’s family members, spanning four generations, joined together at the home, celebrating him on this amazing milestone. Complete with a donut cake, this celebration was filled with lots of laughter as everyone created treasured memories together. 💙

On Tuesday, we held our Northern Service Awards, celebrating our wonderful team members marking significant service milestones at this year.

This celebration joined our CEO, Jenni Hutchins, Chair of our Board, Sophie Ray, our Executive team, staff members and their loved ones at the Shellharbour Civic Centre – and spirits were high! Our team members made their way down the runway, showcasing some great moves whilst cheered on by the crowd! 🎉

Last week, our Stirling residents and staff marked NAIDOC Week with a range of engaging activities.

The week consisted of making damper, listening to a presentation from Jane, one of the home’s care staff, who shared about her Indigenous heritage, a showcase of artefacts, themed arts and crafts sessions including a Koori beading workshop, dot painting and rock painting, and trying Blak Brews Tea that’s made with Quandong extract – an Indigenous healing herb.

These activities were a great way for everyone to both learn about and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, and what a fun week it was! ❤️
