Resus Refresh Rescue delivered CPR/LVR Training on behalf of SLSQ to the fantastic team at Airmaster Corporation in Brisbane last week. Thank you for your engagement and commitment to workplace safety.

Electrical safety is critical in every workplace, understanding the importance of good hazard identification, risk management and implementation of control measures helps to prevent serious injuries or fatalities.

Yearly CPR and LVR training is vital to ensure staff are skilled and confidence to act when accidents happen.

Thanks to the team at Airmaster and SLSQ

🚨 Food Allergy Week | Allergy & Anaphylaxis Awareness 🚨

Food allergies can turn life-threatening within minutes. Recognising the signs early and knowing what to do can save a life. 💛

⚠️ Signs of Anaphylaxis may include:

• Difficulty breathing or noisy breathing

• Swelling of the tongue or throat

• Persistent cough or wheeze

• Dizziness or collapse

• Pale and floppy in young children

🩺 First Aid Management for Anaphylaxis:

1️⃣ Remove the allergen if possible and wash hands/mouth.

2️⃣ Lay the person flat, or sit with legs stretched out if breathing is difficult.

3️⃣ Give adrenaline device as soon as breathing difficulties begin — don’t wait, don’t delay.

4️⃣ If symptoms continue, give a second dose after 5 minutes if available.

5️⃣ Call 000 for emergency help.

Every minute matters in anaphylaxis. Confidence comes from training, practice, and awareness.

This Food Allergy Week, take a moment to refresh your knowledge
