Therapy is a significant investment of both time and money, and we understand that the current cost-of-living pressures can make accessing ongoing support difficult for families. We believe financial circumstances should not be a barrier to children and young people receiving the therapy they need.
If the cost of therapy is a concern, please get in touch to discuss our concession fees. We are committed to working with families wherever possible to make therapy more accessible and sustainable.
Sometimes it can be difficult to explain how you feel using words. You might feel worried, angry, sad, confused or overwhelmed; or you might not really know how you feel at all.
That’s where play can help. 💚
Children naturally use play to explore their world and make sense of their experiences.
In a play therapy session, you might choose to use:
🎨 Art and creative materials
🧸 Toys and figures
🏖️ Sand
🧱 Building and making
🎭 Dressing up and pretend play
🎲 Games
📖 Stories
🎵 Music and movement
You can talk too but you don't have to.
A Play Therapist won't tell you what you should play or make you talk about something before you're ready.
They are there to listen, notice and understand, and to give you a safe space where you can play, explore, create and be yourself.
Through play, children can begin to understand their feelings, explore difficult experiences and discover different ways of coping with things that feel hard.
💚 Because sometimes children have things to say that don't need words.
