We all have moments when that little voice creeps in:
“I’m not good enough.”
“I can’t do this.”
“What if I fail?”
“Maybe I’m just not capable.”
But self-doubt has a funny way of making us forget all the evidence that says otherwise.
Think about everything you’ve already navigated.
The challenges you thought you wouldn't get through.
The difficult decisions you made.
The times you picked yourself back up.
The things you’ve learned along the way.
The moments you surprised yourself with just how strong you could be.
When doubt shows up, try shifting the question from:
“What if I can't?”
to:
“What have I already overcome?”
You don't have to convince yourself that everything will be easy. You just need to remind yourself that you are capable of handling hard things.
Confidence isn't believing you'll never struggle.
Confidence is trusting yourself to keep going when you do.
So the next time self-doubt creeps in, don't focus on everything you think you're lacking.
Look at how far you've already come.
You've got more evidence of your strength and wisdom than you realise.
