THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOL AT MOHR POWER ELECTRICAL THIS MORNING WASN’T IN A TOOLBOX.

It was an honest conversation.

A huge thank you to Will and Brianna and the crew for inviting us in to deliver our PACE mental health workshop real talk about pressure, purpose, attitude, connection and energy and checking in on one another.

We’ve worn the boots ourselves. We know the old trades mentality: keep your head down, get the job done and don’t show too much.

But silence isn’t strength and carrying it alone never makes the load lighter.

When a local business creates space for these conversations, it tells its people:

You matter here.

It strengthens the crew, breaks down stigma and backs the wider community.

That’s local backing local.

If you do one thing today:

Pull out your phone.
Message a mate.
“Hey mate, I’ve been thinking about you. How are you really going?”

You don’t need all the answers.
You just need to open the door.

Ten seconds to send.
It could be the message they’ve been waiting for.

Send it.💚

Most hi-vis helps people be seen.

This one helps people feel seen.

Walk 'n' Talk was built here in Central Queensland, by people who've worked the sites and know how easy it is to keep showing up, keep working, keep saying nothing.

These shirts are premium hi-vis, made to Australian standards. But they're also a way for workers and workplaces to stand behind something real.

Your support keeps the investment local, backs workers on site, and grows free mental health services and youth support across our region.

We're open to workplace orders, co-branded shirts and sponsorships. Samples are ready.

Don't just put your logo on another shirt. Put your workplace behind a conversation that could change someone's life.

Walk 'n' Talk Collective is a DGR-endorsed health promotion charity. Eligible donations may be tax deductible.

1.5 DAYS.
7 KEYNOTE SESSIONS.
HUNDREDS OF EMPLOYEES.

Adohan and Jordan had the privilege of speaking with Hastings Deering employees in Rockhampton about workplace safety, road safety and the mindset we bring into every decision.

Adohan shared his powerful story and the moment his life changed forever. Now paraplegic, he has turned unimaginable pain into purpose and shown what resilience truly looks like.

His story was an important reminder that safety is not only about procedures.

It is also about mindset.

How we arrive at work.
What we are carrying mentally.
Whether we are distracted, complacent or fully present.
And the decisions we make when we get behind the wheel.

Your mental health affects how you show up and how you show up can affect everyone around you.

Thank you to Hastings Deering Rockhampton for creating space for these important conversations, and thank you, Adohan, for sharing your story with such honesty, strength and purpose.

Look after your mind. Look after your mates. Make the decision that gets everyone home. 💚

There's something different about a fundraiser someone runs just because they care.

It's not a campaign we built, it's a person deciding this mattered enough to do something about it. Every one of those efforts, big or small, has helped keep men connected across our region.
