The first 40 days 🫶

I would like to tell you they have been restful, but the reality of a single/solo mum with two that's not the case.

What I would like to tell you is through my tired eyes is a heart full of gratitude, a home full of love and being bloody proud of myself for not listening to the noise and following my dream of having another baby even if that meant doing it on my own.

I birthed my boy at home, into the water on a full moon. It was magical. Also intense and the primal animal in my definitely made an appearance.

My village has showed up more than I imagined. I have had so many people checking in, offering help, dropping food and supplies and entertaining my wild toddler. I've been given post-partum food vouchers and house cleans as gifts which are seriously the best thing ever for anyone in this season!

I encapsulated my own placenta day 2 post-partum, taking my capsules everyday along with healthy nourishing food I am recovering well and feeling ready to step into the world as a mother of two!

Thank you to everyone who has been apart of this journey and a special thanks to my incredible midwife for bringing my boy into this world safely, for your knowledge and continuous support and of course my beautiful big sister my birth partner and my rock through this how journey!

How incredibly lucky I am to walk this path again with my babies 💫🤎✨️

It is the last night of my first baby being 3 💞

We had a bath together, played mum and dads and the animal guessing game. I am trying to cherish the last few moments of it just being her and I. Her first 4 years have been big, so much change so much growth and I am so incredibly proud of her for her resilience and joy for life.

Rio is my little side kick, my mini best friend and my reason for everything. She is full of spice, creativity, empathy, attitude, smiles, laughter and never ending energy 💥

She is always happy to give everything a go, loves a good adventure and road trip with mum, the vibes are always high I love that about her.

This time 4 years ago I was well into established labour with her, I can feel it everytime as the years roll by. She was born at 12:47am on the 23rd of January after a 15 hour labour. I was so happy to have my baby girl I had been dreaming of for many moons before she arrived 💫

It is now so surreal to be reliving my first labour while I wait for labour to approach again, wondering what it will be like this time, how it will happen and who this little bean growing inside me is.

My Aquarius water babies, I am so blessed to have them both and I know Rio is going to be the most nurturing and protective big sissy. I can't wait for the next chapter ✨️

This pregnancy has more of a wild and ruggered feel to it..

Maybe it is because I have chosen to go on the path of solo motherhood

Maybe it represents the little bean growing inside me

Maybe it is me and my shedding phase, letting go and moving into the realm about to birth my second child

Either way this location felt fitting for us, somewhere close to our hearts, where as children and adolescents have spent many days exploring 🤎

I am incredibly lucky to have my talented big sissy capture these moments for me on a stormy summers evening, when the ocean is always clear & calm.



I couldn't pick a favourite, so here is my blooming belly captured for all those memories to come 🫶

When you realise you are creating the life you always wanted 💫

2025 what a year!

For me this year has been a huge year of transformation, teaching myself to let go, to stop holding on when it no longer benefits you. It has been a year of huge strength, awakening, pain and healing.

What comes with that is a rebirth within yourself, a realisation that you create what you want on your own, even if it is different to what you originally envisioned for yourself.

I have spent 2025 creating the most beautiful memories with my daughter, I have focused on us and building that foundation. I decided to become a solo mumma because I couldn't shake the feeling of wanting another little blessing in my life and I wasn't going to wait around for another man who can decide I'm not good enough.

I am not going to let anyone dim my shine ✨️

I have met so many beautiful women this year and have been lucky enough to support them with their post-partum journeys with placenta encapsulation & doula offerings

I have been building friendships, foundations, my village.

I have had my head down, single mumming, working two nursing jobs, studying a bachelor degree, getting pregnant, running my little business and keeping my head above water.

I have quietly been ticking boxes.

I am now feeling so excited for what the future holds for us, to welcoming our new little family member early next year, to build and create for women in this space and to manifest all those dreams for my little family that I hope one day I can make true.

One step at a time.

I recently attended Rhea Dempsy's birthing wisdom workshop preparing for the birth of babe #2

Rhea has such an amazing energy & presence you can feel as soon as you walk in the room. I felt it the minute I met her and already knew why she was such an incredible Doula. Her knowledge and experience working with birthing women for 40 or so years was so evident in her course. The passion and confidence she has in women and birth is incredible and so inspiring.

I can now take the time to reflect on this knowledge & wisdom that was passed down to me both for my own experiences and my Doula work moving forward. I hope use these tools & techniques I have learnt as I prepare for a home birth with my amazing midwife

Thank you to my big sissy & birth partner for always supporting me in my life choices and being open to learning new things with me. You are one in a million!

Growing baby #2 🫶

Feeling very blessed to have the opportunity to be creating a beautiful life for the second time.

I have chosen to go down the path of becoming a solo mumma.. something I have thought about a lot that feels exciting, daunting, brave, empowering and heavy all at once.

I couldn't shake the feeling of never birthing another child again and not having another baby to love and cherish in our home, I know I bave wanting this for so long.
I wanted to give my daughter Rio a sibling she can grow up with and create beautiful family vibes within our home. She is so excited and I know she is going to make the best big sister ever ❤️

Thank you to my village who have already been there for me through this journey, those who have encouraged and supported me, it definitely feels different doing this on your own so I appreciate all the love!

My little bubba will be arriving sometime in Feb 2026 ✨️

I will continue to work honouring your beautiful placenta's throughout my pregnancy and soon after bubs is born so please do not hesitate to get in touch!
