I don't remember ever feeling free in my body.
Not at a festival. Not in the dark. Not even on my yoga mat.
For as long as I can remember, I was self-conscious. Rigid. Ashamed. I wanted to let go, but I didn't know how. I was terrified of judgement and of drawing any attention to myself.
Learning to feel safe in my own body has been one of the most healing parts of my journey. Not because I learned to move better, but because I stopped believing there was a right way to move.
Now my body feels like home.
That's why I created SOMA.
Not to teach yoga. Not to teach dance.
But to create a space where the lights are off, the music is on, and you can explore movement without judgement.
No performance. No expectations.
Just you, your body, and the freedom to move in whatever way feels authentic.
A chance to experience even a glimpse of what it feels like to be free, to connect with yourself, and to move without inhibition.
Maybe you've always felt free in your body.
Or maybe, like me, you're only just discovering what that feels like.
Either way, you're welcome here.
Join us this Friday at 7:00 pm.
If you have any questions or you're wondering whether SOMA is for you, send me a message. I'd love to chat.
