DAY IN THE LIFE OF JESS 💁🏼‍♀️

Start the day refereeing dogs and kids (and Guinea pigs) like it’s a contact sport.

Childcare drop-off complete… usually with at least one forgotten item and a mild identity crisis in the car park.

Get to the clinic, quick moment of this is cool, we built this…
then immediately into who’s called in sick, what’s broken, and why is the phone already ringing.

People think I just treat patients all day.

I don’t.

I’m treating, yes BUT I’m also managing practitioners, answering questions, troubleshooting cases, making decisions, backing the team, and trying to be about three places at once.

It’s part clinician, part mentor, part problem-solver… part professional plate spinner.

In between patients it’s:
notes, quick team chats, fixing things no one else saw, and making sure everything still runs the way it should. (Special kudos to Ben and Hannah for keeping me focused)

Sneak in a gym session where I can (usually the morning) partly for my own sanity, partly because makes me send selfies

Then it’s home.

Dinner, kids, noise, chaos… and a glass of wine that’s doing a lot of heavy lifting.

It’s not calm.
It’s not aesthetic.
But it’s real, and I genuinely love it.

Not every day looks the same, but there are a few things you’ll always find in Liv’s routine.

A bit of movement to start the day, whether that’s a swim or just taking a moment to reset.

Looking after herself so she can show up properly for everyone else.

And then doing what she does best; supporting her patients through their own journeys.

In between?
A lot of work. A lot of care. And a genuine investment in every person who walks through the door.

Because for Olivia, it’s never just “work work work”,
it’s about showing up, consistently, for the people who trust her with their health.

Last month, we welcomed 132 new patients.

Yes, we ran a Free Osteo Month.
That brought in around 50 patients with Ryan.

But the rest?

That was our team,
showing up, supporting a growing community,
and welcoming a wave of new patients into our new space.

What stood out most:

People don’t just want treatment, they want clarity.

And when you give them time, explanation, and a second session to build on it…
everything changes.

Growth is great.
Doing it properly matters more.

This is Ryan.

If you see him early in the morning, just know… he’s doing his best.

He’s not naturally a morning person, but he shows up anyway.

Gets himself moving, gets into the clinic, gets things ready, not because it’s glamorous, but because it matters.

Ryan’s the kind of practitioner who doesn’t make a big deal of what he does.
He just does the work.

He’s consistent.
He’s thoughtful.
He cares about getting it right for the person in front of him.

Outside of the clinic, it’s pretty simple.
Move his body. Clear his head. Switch off.

Because doing this job well isn’t just about what happens in the room, it’s about how you show up, day after day.

Good humans make good practitioners.
Ryan’s one of them.

We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve been recognised in the Top 4 for Customer Service at the City of Whittlesea Business Awards.

Winners will be announced in June, so watch this space.

To be honest, I know this kind of announcement can sound a little PR-driven, but I genuinely mean it when I say this: the nomination itself is enough for us.

This was an extremely competitive category, with some truly outstanding businesses across the City of Whittlesea. To be recognised in the top four for customer service is something we are really proud of.

At the heart of this is our team. The way they show up every day, the way they care for our patients, the way they prioritise experience just as much as outcomes. This recognition reflects that.

We’ll always keep striving to do better, but today, we’re taking a moment to acknowledge the work that’s already being done

Most people come in not really knowing what to expect.

And honestly, that’s fair.

A lot of healthcare feels rushed, surface-level, or confusing.

This is different.

We take the time to understand you properly.
Not just where it hurts, but why it’s happening.

Because pain isn’t random.
And it’s rarely just one thing.

If you’ve been unsure about booking in,
hopefully this gives you a clearer picture of what we actually do.

We’re here when you’re ready.

Does your pain keep coming back?? It might be because you’re only treating the symptom...

Short-term relief feels good, but if nothing changes, the problem won’t change either.

We look at:
• load
• movement
• lifestyle
• recovery
• the WHOLE person

That’s how you actually break the cycle.

If this resonates, it’s worth addressing

There’s a lot of confusion around osteopathy, so let’s clear it up.

It’s not just cracking.
It’s not just for back pain.
And it’s definitely not passive care.

Good osteopathy should help you:
• understand your body
• move better
• build long-term resilience

If your treatment isn’t doing that — it’s worth questioning why

Send this to someone who still thinks we just crack backs
