I stumbled across these berries at the local farmers market and had to share! These dried up balls are called Jujube berries and are a type of date from the Ziziphus family.

The benefits of these berries far outweigh those of the sweet dates we normally find in our protein balls and slices. I have been eating about 2 a day and have been sleeping far better than before!

Some of the benefits are:

These bad boys are my all time favourite to make into salad dressings or for extra mush to your smoothie.

We are all know they are rich in fatty acids and plenty of amazing vitamins but did you know they can be used for more than an extra for your salad? Here's how:

🥑Make your own Avocado face mask
🥑Turn it into a juice with almond milk
🥑Create your own hair mask by adding the yolk of an egg and some coconut oil
🥑fight dandruff by using the powder from the seed to make your own treatment
🥑create your own body mask to reduce skin irritation and dry skin

Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Using a cotton tip, swab the mixture over your teeth. Leave for 30 seconds, rinse and brush as normal.💦

Continue this process every 2-3 weeks for a 6 week period.
