WELCOME MATT!

We are very excited to welcome our newest member and osteo Matt to our team! He will be working with us Monday 9am-7pm, Wednesday 2pm-8pm, Thursday 8am-11:30am and Saturday 8am-1:30pm. This should help many of you that need some out of hours times as these have been in demand for our other osteos Tom and Emily!

Matt is a registered osteopath who has completed both his Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. He is qualified in Advanced Neuromuscular Dry Needling and is about to complete his ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coaching accreditation.

Alongside his clinical role, Matt works within high-performance basketball, assisting with injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-play planning for Melbourne University Big V Women’s Basketball. He also teaches Human Anatomy & Physiology at both Victoria University and RMIT.

Clinically, Matt combines hands-on treatments with evidence-based rehabilitation and exercise prescription to help patients reduce pain, improve movement, and return to the activities important to them. He has a particular interest in sporting injuries, strength-based rehabilitation, jaw pain, headaches, and long-term musculoskeletal management.

You can book in with Matt online via ur website www.rangesosteopathy.com.au or call us to do so.

He look forward to seeing you all soon and meeting our amazing clients!

BELATED UPDATE ON TIM

After a very busy start to 2026 here at the clinic, we have been delayed in updating you all on a couple of key progressions regarding our Director, Tim.

Back in January, Tim was appointed Strength & Conditioning Coordinator at NPL soccer club Brimbank Stallions FC where he has been responsible for the entire club's aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, speed development, injury prevention and load monitoring across all teams from under 7's to Seniors. This is a large role for the club that has led to him having to leave the mighty Gisborne Football Netball Club at the end of the preseason after 5 years, yet he still supports from the sidelines when he gets the chance.

In April, Tim was also offered a leadership role at Victoria University in the osteopathy program as a Clinical Supervisor where he is part-time, which is a big step forward in his university teaching pathway. As many of you know, he has been teaching within the osteopathy program at VU for over 8 years casually across many different subjects but is now a permanent member.

Tim is still of course treating and managing at the clinic on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week but is very busy and you may find him booked at least 2 weeks in advance. However, things change each week so if you are waiting for an appointment with him please reach out to us so we can place you on the wait list where we will call you if any bookings change. Alternatively, we encourage you to book in with one of our other awesome osteos who may be accessible sooner than Tim.

We hope you have a great finish to the weekend and enjoy the rare Winter sun!

WELCOME | EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY AT RANGES OSTEOPATHY & PERFORMANCE

We are pleased to welcome Dr Melissa Sbaraglia to Ranges Osteopathy & Performance, now offering Exercise Physiology services within the clinic.

Melissa works with people recovering from injury who are ready to move beyond early treatment and would like clear guidance on how to safely return to daily activities, work, or exercise.

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with more than 20 years’ experience, Melissa holds a PhD focused on helping people follow through with exercise and make lasting improvements in movement and function. Her role within the clinic is assessment- and progression-focused, supporting informed exercise planning alongside osteopathic care.

Melissa conducts comprehensive movement and capacity assessments, including the use of force-plate technology, to understand how each side of the body contributes during movement. This information is used to guide personalised exercise prescription and shared clinical decision-making.

Sessions focus on understanding your current capacity and goals, then developing individualised home exercise programs to support a safe and sustainable return to activity, coordinated closely with the Ranges Osteopathy & Performance team.

Melissa’s Exercise Physiology services operate independently within the clinic.

In clinic Thursdays, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

To book or to find out if this is appropriate for you, call Melissa on 0480 316 343, email [email protected], or speak to the Ranges Osteopathy & Performance team.

STEIGEN SOCKS STOCKED UP!

We have just stocked up all of our products in clinic including the very popular Steigen socks!

Ask anyone that wears these how much they love them (including our staff) as they are made of lycra and nylon with the ability to wick moisture away from your feet and structured to reduce rubbing so they are very comfy for running, walking, cycling or every day use especially in the warmer months! They are also available in many different colours, heights and even some for bigger feet or kids which you can see in the recent picture here or via Steigen's website.

We are of course here to help you all with pain, injury, prevention and performance goals and not here to go all sales-like on products so if you like the idea of these please reach out or come into the clinic to try some on either at your next appointment or at your leisure during our opening hours.

Have a great start to the week!
