One person was killed and at least 17 others were injured after a vehicle drove into a crowd near Berlin Pride today, bringing what should have been a joyful celebration to a heartbreaking end. Authorities are continuing to investigate the attack.

Lots of love and solidarity to our LGBTQ+ siblings in Berlin.

This is why we still have Pride.

Because being able to gather openly, celebrate who you are, and exist without fear is not something everyone can take for granted.

Pride is joy.
Pride is community.
Pride is resilience.
Pride is resistance.

Today, we’re holding the people of Berlin close in our hearts. 🏳️‍🌈❤️

Not funny at all.

And this time, more than 1 young man has participated. This is homophobic and sexist revolting punch down behaviour is unacceptable.

Maybe what's worse, is that no other young men stopped this? Did any refuse to participate? Did anyone try and delete the photo? And anyone say "don't post this"?

Be an upstander, not a bystander.
