Please read this article by activist Alice Wong, creator of the popular Disability Visibility project.

Alice Wong hits the nail on the head with this fantastic article on why Palestinian liberation is disability justice.

"I’m no expert but I know what it means to be dehumanized, rendered disposable, and oppressed. I know that all people deserve freedom. I know that genocide is a mass disabling event and a form of eugenics."

We have watched and seen innumerable irrefutable evidence of acts of genocide against an innocent population. The Sydney Q***r and Disability Community Group stands in solidarity with our Palestinian peers.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ

We said it before and we will say it again - we are committed to uplifting the lives and voices of trans people. Rather than just talk the talk, we are planning to walk the walk, so you can find us doing our best to improve the accessibility of LGBTQ+ events in any way we can.

Today, we dedicate this post to trans people with disabilities.

For as long as I can remember, January 26 has served as a day for the white masses to dust off their polyester Australian flags, show off their southern cross tattoos and marvel in joy as they watch their mates shovel as much beer and rum into them as humanely possible.
