Mona Ardeleanu Counselling

Mona Ardeleanu Counselling I am a Person-Centred counsellor.

I am particularly passionate in working with people who want to improve their life, the quality of their relationships, and people who want to communicate better and make meaningful changes in their lives.

I’m very happy to share that I am now welcoming clients to my counselling practice in Bondi Junction. 🌿

I wanted to create a space where counselling feels warm, personal and comfortable. A place where you can slow down, speak openly and feel genuinely heard, without judgement or pressure.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, grief, life changes, or simply feel that something in your life needs attention, you are welcome to come and have an honest conversation.

Sometimes, that’s where change begins. 🤍

As we step into a new year, I want to offer a gentle wish — not for perfection or big changes, but for presence.

May this year bring you moments of calm, meaningful connection, and space to be exactly where you are.
You don’t need to carry last year’s weight forward.
You’re allowed to move gently, at your own pace.

Wishing you a year that feels steady, kind, and supportive — from the inside out. 🤍🤍🤍

As the year gently comes to a close, I wish you a peaceful and restful end to the year. 🎄✨

This season can bring many emotions — joy, reflection, gratitude, and sometimes a little heaviness too. However you’re experiencing it, I hope you find moments of warmth, connection, and quiet rest.

May these days invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and be kind to yourself.
Wishing you a Christmas filled with calm moments and gentle care.

What’s one small thing bringing you comfort this week? 🌿

What happened at Bondi Beach has shaken many of us.
Even if you weren’t there, fear can ripple through the body — suddenly, quietly, unexpectedly. 🌊

If you’re feeling unsettled, anxious, or on edge, please know:
• Your reaction is valid
• Your nervous system is trying to protect you
• You are not weak for feeling this

Today, focus on small grounding moments.
Breathe slowly.
Stay connected.
Be gentle with yourself. 🤍

Events like the tragedy at Bondi Beach can deeply affect us — even from a distance.
Shock, fear, sadness, anger, or numbness are all common responses to trauma. 🌿

If you’re struggling right now, a few gentle reminders:
• Limit how much news you consume
• Stay close to people who feel safe
• Ground yourself in the present (touch something solid, breathe slowly)
• Allow your feelings without judgement

Trauma lives in the body as much as the mind.
There is no “right” way to respond — only your way.

If fear or distress lingers, speaking with a counsellor can help you process what you’re carrying, safely and at your pace. 🤍

Emotional safety feels like this:
🌿 I can be honest
🌿 I don’t have to pretend
🌿 My feelings are welcome
🌿 I’m not afraid of being judged

We all deserve spaces where our nervous system can soften and our truth can breathe.
Start by offering that safety to yourself. 💙

Emotional safety isn’t just a feeling — it’s a foundation.
It allows us to express ourselves honestly, to pause without fear, and to share our inner world without bracing for judgement. 🌿

You can build emotional safety by:
✨ Listening to your needs
✨ Setting gentle boundaries
✨ Validating your feelings
✨ Surrounding yourself with people who treat your vulnerability with care

Counselling is one of the few spaces designed entirely for your emotional safety — somewhere you can arrive exactly as you are and be held with respect and understanding. 💙

If you need support, I’m here.

It’s easy to lose touch with yourself when life becomes busy or overwhelming.

You might notice you’re running on autopilot, putting everyone else first, or feeling disconnected from your emotions. 🌿

Reconnecting with yourself doesn’t have to be complicated:
✨ Slow down for a moment
✨ Listen to your body
✨ Notice what lights you up — and what drains you
✨ Ask yourself gentle questions, without judgement

If you’re feeling disconnected or unsure where to begin, counselling can help you find your way back to yourself. 💙

We all experience intense emotions — anger, sadness, anxiety, overwhelm. Emotional regulation isn’t about “controlling” your feelings… it’s about understanding them. 🌿

Here are gentle ways to regulate big emotions:
✨ Take a slow breath and ground your body
✨ Name what you’re feeling instead of fighting it
✨ Allow the emotion to rise and fall without judgement
✨ Reach out if you need support

Emotions are teachers, not enemies.
If you’d like help learning to navigate strong feelings with compassion, I’m here. 💙
