SWIPE FOR THE RECIPE 🧁🍓🩷

The exact amount of protein will vary depending on what protein powder you use. At the moment, I’ve been doubling up on my serving size because I’m breastfeeding and always hungry so the extra protein helps.

You could use any nut or seed butter here.

I have been loving tiger nut milk for my smoothies, it’s the closest I can find to dairy and makes for a really creamy taste and texture.

If you have any questions, let me know! I hope you love this as much as I do. 🩷

Some family favourites from the past few months, I’ll never take for granted the time we get at home with our girl. So lucky to live on the beautiful coast.

A little snapshot of what our Mondays look like lately. We drive to Sydney from the south coast every Sunday and Andie has her blood tests and treatment on Monday in the hospital.

We always start the day with some time outside and coffee, of course.

Still no answers to what is going on, and I’m still figuring out if I want to share more details or not.

This little girl brings so much joy, no matter where we are. We’re so lucky to have her 🥹♥️

Has becoming a mum changed your perspective on health? I’d love to know.

An honest look into my camera roll over the past few weeks.

I’m sharing this because I’ve been scrolling Instagram a lot over the past few weeks and have found myself feeling so envious of everyone living a normal life. So, for anyone else having a really s**t time right now, you’re not alone. Life can be so tough sometimes. 💔

We came to Sydney last week for Andie’s regular weekly appointment, and just as we were about to head home, they did her observations and found her oxygen saturation was low, so we were admitted to the ward. Andie had pneumonia caused by a common virus, and it made her really unwell. We ended up in ICU for a night, and she is still on oxygen, but she’s doing a lot better.

This season keeps reminding me just how easy it is to take the ordinary things for granted. The feeling of the sun on your skin, good health, and simply being home with the people you love.

One day at a time. 🤍

Nothing beats that gummy smile looking up at you. Our girl, just being her joyful self wherever we are.

One of the things I’ve learnt over the past few months is that children have this beautiful way of living in the moment.

She reminds us that even on the days that feel the heaviest, there are still so many special moments worth smiling about. 🤍

A little life update…

This isn’t my usual content, but it feels strange to jump back into posting without acknowledging why I’ve been quiet.

Three months ago we welcomed our daughter, Andie, and not long after we made the move to the South Coast.

Since then, we have been navigating some health challenges with her and spending a lot of time travelling to Sydney for treatment while we wait for answers. It’s been a lot, and it’s not what I imagined my postpartum or these first few months of motherhood would look like.

I’ve kept thinking I would come back when life felt a little more settled, but I’ve realised I could be waiting a while.

I’ll still be sharing some women’s health and practical nutrition content but as a new mum it might look a little different for a while.

Thanks for being here ♥️

Sharing our birth story as I’ve always been drawn to other women’s stories and how different each one is.

I was 39+1 when I went into labour, I always thought I would go before 40 weeks.

Despite my birth not looking at all what I imagined, I still had such a beautiful, empowering experience. I felt supported and in control of all my decisions along the way.

thank you for being the best support person and partner, I love you. ♥️
