Job Title: Disability Support Worker (Casual)

Your Responsibilities:
· Provide care using a person centred approach
· Assist with daily living activities and personal care
· Offer social and emotional support and companionship
· Conduct social meaningful activities and promote community participation
· Undertake light household duties
· Plan and prepare meals
· Aid in mobility
· Manage behaviours of concern
· Report health or behavioural changes
· Handle administrative tasks and maintain records
· Provide respite care to facilitate independent living away from family or primary carers
· Transport clients to appointments
· Support clients with therapy and monitoring

What We Seek:
Individuals with strong empathy and resilience, adept at thriving in demanding and dynamic environments.
· Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community
· Relevant experience in disability support (Minimum 1 year)
· Valid driver’s license (own car desirable)
· Strong communication and administrative skills
· Passionate, empathetic, and flexible
· Up-to-date vaccinations
· Proficiency in manual handling and client transferring
· NDIS screening, Working with Children (WWC) check
· Experience with non-verbal participants and behaviours of concern (Desirable)
