The reviews have been pouring in lately and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful. 🤍

Seeing so many of you fall in love with the new formulas has been incredibly special. I know change can be a little scary, especially when you’ve loved something for years, so hearing that so many of you feel your skin is even more hydrated, nourished and happy with the new range means the world to me.

Thank you for trusting me, for sharing your experiences, and for supporting this little brand. Every message, review and order reminds me why I do this.

My heart is so full. Thank you for being here 🥹❤️

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll probably remember my soaps… i don’t think a week has gone by without someone asking me when they’re were coming back!

When I was running the Gaia clearance last year, I made the difficult decision to stop making them. It was such an overwhelming season that something had to give, and sadly, the soaps were one of those things.

Now that Yinera has found its feet, it finally feels like the right time to bring them back. They’ll still have the same beautiful soap base that gave them that creamy, rich, bubbly lather so many of you loved, but I’ve made a few thoughtful changes to better reflect what Yinera is all about today. gentle, skin loving ingredients, beautiful botanicals, and formulas that feel more aligned with my current philosophy.

This video is a little behind the scenes look at me testing different botanical colourants and tweaking the ratios to get the colours just right. It’s amazing how much difference a tiny adjustment can make.

I still have the packaging to finalise, but we’re getting so close now and I just can’t wait to share them with you.

Which colour are you most excited for… ❤️ red, 💛 yellow or…… 💚 green? 😉

Since re launching Yinera, I’ve received so many messages from my beautiful customers who have been with me for years saying they were initially hesitant to try the new formulas.
Many loved the original balms and weren’t sure anything could replace them. But after trying the new creams, the feedback has been incredibly positively consistent.
Time and time again, my customers are telling me their skin feels more hydrated, more nourished and more comfortable throughout the day. Many have said they didn’t realise how much their skin was missing until they made the switch and are now completely converted to the new Yinera range! ❤️❤️❤️
At the moment there is a promotion where can get a free barrier repair serum (valued at $55) when you spend $150. These have been so popular in the winter so stock is going super fast 💚

In TCM, spicy foods like chilli are considered warming and can contribute to internal heat in some people (guilty!!)

If you already tend towards signs of heat such as reflux, facial redness, inflammatory acne or digestive discomfort, traditional chilli kimchi may not always be the best fit.

That’s why I love white kimchi. You still get the benefits of fermentation and beneficial bacteria to support gut health, but without the added chilli heat.

This is a delicious way to enjoy fermented foods while being a little gentler on digestion

Comment KIMCHI and I’ll send you the full recipe with measurements 🤍🤍🤍

As someone who has chased many skin and health trends over the last 15 years, the biggest changes actually happened when I focused on the basics.

I stopped buying junk food and bringing it into the house. Because let’s be honest, if it’s sitting in the pantry, eventually I’ll eat it. Some of my snacks to curb the sweet salty junk cravings: olives, rice cakes, dark chocolate, nuts and seeds, fruit, homemade bread with various homemade spreads and toppings to name a few.

Anything homemade always better than takeaway. If I was too tired or lazy to cook, or was craving junk I would replicate it with an easy homemade meal. Canned fish, fresh cut up veg, rice, a quick pasta dish, a sandwich, anything I had at home instead of takeaway. Mind over matter on this one was super important. A loooot of self control 🥲

I stopped relying on plain water alone and started drinking herbal teas throughout the day instead. Soo much better for your body and skin. Plus so much more delish.

I made omega 3 rich foods a priority. Sardines, wild-caught salmon and cod liver oil a few times a week became regular staples.

DAIRY. This was a tough one to accept. In TCM dairy is super damp forming and especially with a sluggish digestion this is just a big no no for acne :( it took me many years to finally actually apply this to myself despite already knowing TCM. Definitely was living in denial.

When it came to skincare, the biggest lesson was to stop changing products all the dang time.

Every time my skin flared, I’d convince myself I needed something new, when in reality, my skin usually needed consistency, hydration and patience.

It’s also the philosophy behind the skincare I create now.

Supporting the skin barrier, staying consistent and giving skin what it actually needs instead of chasing every new trend that comes along.🩷🩷

Tremella is my obsession in winter and it should be yours too.
It helps your skin hold onto hydration, leaving it feeling soft, plump and comfortable instead of tight and dry.
A lot of people compare it to hyaluronic acid, but I love tremella because it creates a lightweight moisture veil on the skin rather than relying as heavily on pulling in water from its surroundings.

If your skin always seems thirstier in winter, tremella is one ingredient I wouldn’t be without. You can find it in my Botanical Mist and Barrier repair serum 🤍
