I thought the information would be the most valuable part of my GLP-1 Bodywise Project program. I’m not sure it is anymore.
When I first put Bodywise together, I spent an enormous amount of time on the lessons.
Nutrition. Protein. Strength training. Side effects. Plateaus. Maintenance. All the practical bits women kept telling me they were struggling to make sense of.
And obviously all of that matters.
But then I watched something else happen.
The women started talking to each other.
Someone would ask a question she was almost embarrassed to ask, only to discover two other women had been wondering exactly the same thing.
Someone would have a crappy week and say so, rather than disappearing because she felt as though she’d somehow failed.
They started sharing what they were eating, what they were struggling with, what had finally clicked, what they were doing in the gym... and occasionally having a good old laugh about the whole ridiculous business of being a midlife woman trying to look after herself.
And somewhere along the way, Bodywise became more than the lessons I’d spent all those months creating.
It became a group of women who knew each other’s stories.
I reckon that matters more than we sometimes give it credit for.
There’s certainly no shortage of GLP-1 information available now. You can Google practically anything, watch another video or disappear into a Facebook group and emerge three hours later with 47 different answers to the question you originally asked. 😂
What’s much harder to find is somewhere you can say, this is what’s happening with me, and have people around you who understand the context.
Some weeks you’ll be the woman asking the question.
Other weeks you’ll be the one saying, Yep, I went through that too.
And sometimes you’ll simply read along and realise you’re not the only person still figuring bits of this out.
That’s the part of Bodywise I don’t think I could ever properly recreate in a lesson.
The information gives you somewhere to start. The conversations help you keep going.
I talk about the Bodywise community in my free Beyond the Prescription masterclass too, and you’ll hear from some of the women who joined the original Foundation group back in May.

If you had a room full of midlife women using GLP-1s sitting around the table with you, what would you want to ask them? ❤️
