There. I said it.

I see so many people chasing that sore, exhausted feeling because it makes them feel like they've done enough.

Then a few weeks later they're asking themselves the same question:

"Why isn't this working yet?"

You aren't lazy. You're genuinely trying.

The problem is you're measuring progress by the wrong things.

The people getting the best results aren't always the sorest.

They're the ones who understand what their body actually needs to respond to the work they put in.

That's why I spend so much time helping people understand their bodies instead of just giving them another workout.

✅️Because feeling strong in your body again.
✅️Feeling energised in training.
✅️Feeling good in your clothes.
✅️Feeling like yourself again.
👉That's what we're really after.

And sometimes the thing holding you back isn't a lack of effort.

It's focusing on the wrong signals ❤️

I got busy this afternoon... Real busy.

Helping clients, answering messages, pt session, running around...

And before I knew it, it was after 8pm dinner time and I'd barely eaten all afternoon. (If you know me well you know this is not me AT all haha)

The funny thing is, I see this happen all the time.

People think they're eating pretty well.

But when we actually look closer?

Breakfast gets skipped or pushed back

Lunch gets shoved to the side.

The afternoon disappears.

Then they arrive home absolutely starving or craving crap.

And that's where things unravel.

Not because they have no willpower.

Not because they're lazy.

Because there bodies are hungry whether they are aware of it or not.

There's a big difference.

When your body goes hours and hours without fuel, it doesn't magically become better at responding to the training you're putting in.

It becomes harder to make good decisions.

You start picking while making dinner.

Snacking after dinner.

Looking for quick energy because your body is trying to solve a problem.

Then you sit there wondering why your energy feels low, why cravings hit hard, and why your effort isn't matching your results.

This is one of the biggest reasons I focus so heavily on helping people build a lifestyle their body can actually respond to.

Not with perfection or restriction.

Just simple habits done consistently enough that your body starts working FOR you instead of against you.

And here's the exciting part...

While most people are slowing down for winter, our crew are speeding up.

They're building momentum now so Spring doesn't sneak up on them.

Because once you understand what's actually holding you back, everything starts to make a lot more sense ❤️

I see so many people eating "healthy" during the week and wondering why they're not seeing results.

A handful of this.. A bite of that.. Skipping meals because they're busy... Living on air until lunch.

Then wondering why they're exhausted by 3pm and have nothing left in the tank for training.

Or showing up to workouts week after week...
👉Using the same weights. 👉Taking the easy option.
And the biggest one..
👉Stopping when it starts to feel uncomfortable.

They feel frustrated when their body stays exactly the same.

❌️Your body doesn't change because you try.
✅️It changes because you give it an actual reason to adapt.

⛽️Fuel it properly.
💪Challenge it properly.
✅️✅️✅️Repeat that often enough and your body has no choice but to respond.

That's why I spend so much time helping our group members with the basics.

The ones who get the best results usually aren't doing anything fancy.

✅️They're eating enough.
✅️They're getting stronger.
✅️They're showing up consistently.

And they keep doing it long after the excitement wears off.🙌

Imagine where you'll be by Spring if you stop starting over and simply keep building on what you're already doing.

👖That's when the jeans fit differently.
🔥That's when workouts feel powerful.
✨️That's when confidence stops being something you chase and becomes something you already have.

This weekend has been filled with all my favourite things.

Family, friends, fresh air, slow moments with the love of my life ❤️

After losing our third pregnancy at the start of this year, I lost my spark for a while.

But lately I've felt it coming back.

It's my birthday this week and instead of working the days away, I'm excited for what's ahead. 🎂🎉

I think that's something we forget sometimes... The future version of yourself isn't built in the big moments.

It's built in the ordinary regular days that you choose to make extraordinary ✨️

The walks. The workouts. The conversations. The people you surround yourself with.

Are they helping you grow, or keeping you exactly where you are?

That's why I'm so grateful for the humans inside our group fitness community.

Some days you don't need another regular workout.

You need movement that makes you feel strong again. A reason to get out of the house. A group of people who remind you who you are when life gets heavy.

Spring will be here before we know it.

The question isn't whether time will pass.

It's who you'll become by the time it does 🔥

Protein helps with recovery yes.

Which is why I take the time in helping our group members understand how to fuel their bodies properly alongside their training.

Workouts alone aren't enough to change. It's all the other things you do outside of training that count.

You can be in the same place in 6months time or you can get on top of this now and be unrecognisable by Summer.

We finally got around to digging and dividing our iris today. Thanks to and their wonderful tutorial.

I did skip the roots tip. My brain is not working today but we got this done as well as shopping for the week ahead so I am proud.

The day kicked off with a beautiful Pilates session with my crew followed by a catch up at a local cafe.

Our classes give you a reason to fuel better, move intentionally, build strength, and stay consistent every week.

You're training hard but still look and feel exactly the same 👀

Some of you are training like athletes and fuelling like you're trying to lose weight. The two don't work together.

You can't build a strong, toned body from a place of deprivation and lack.
