Sometimes, we have to pull out the big guns 🌿

Which is why we’ll be stocking Qenda Ultimate Fibre at Cura.

Ultimate Fibre is a more comprehensive blend of fibre and herbs, designed for those times when you want a little more targeted digestive support rather than just a simple daily fibre.

We’ll also be stocking Qenda Everyday Fibre for a gentler, everyday option, because when it comes to gut health, there’s definitely no one-size-fits-all approach.

A little something extra at Cura🫐🍒

We’re so excited to be stocking Mt. Wilder Berries beautiful organic whole-fruit juices made from berries that are gently pressed and packed with naturally occurring plant compounds.

I’m a big believer in starting with food first where we can, and using supplements as just that, a supplement. So I love being able to include little things like this as part of your visit.

We’ll have Wild Blueberry, Elderberry, Tart Cherry and Wild Cranberry available in clinic, and you’ll also receive a little berry shot at the end of your colonic ✨

We’ll choose one depending on how you’re feeling and what we think suits you best that day, just a lovely little way to finish your treatment and give your body a bit of extra goodness before you head home.

Because at Cura, we want the little details to feel special too 🥹🌱

Hi, I’m Kat 👋🏼

I’ll be your colon hydrotherapist looking after you here at Cura.

I absolutely love this work, but more than anything I love creating a space where people can feel comfortable talking about something that can sometimes feel a little awkward or embarrassing. I love helping clients feel better in themselves and seeing them thrive 🥹

My approach is very gentle, relaxed and personal. I’ll always explain what’s happening, check in with you throughout your treatment and do everything I can to make the experience feel as comfortable and un-intimidating as possible.

Expect belly massage, hot water bottles, plenty of chatting or quiet time if that’s more your thing 🤍

I know colonics can feel intimidating, but after doing this for so long, I promise you that nothing can shock me!

Outside of Cura, you’ll usually find me out walking, somewhere in nature, spending time with my favourite people, or attempting to become a roller skating pro 😅

I can’t wait to welcome you into Cura and meet you 🌱

Does a colonic hurt? 🌱

For most people, it shouldn’t. You might feel a bit of pressure, fullness, some cramping or the urge to go at different points, but those feelings usually pass pretty quickly.

We’ll always check in with you throughout your treatment and make sure you’re feeling as comfortable as possible.

It can feel a little strange at first, but a lot of people are surprised by how gentle it actually is 🤍

I’ve been really picky about what I want to have on our shelves. I want everything we carry to be something I genuinely like, trust and would feel comfortable recommending.

One of the things I really like about Therapure is how much thought goes into their formulations. They keep things simple, use capsules and powders rather than hard-pressed tablets, and focus on quality forms of nutrients without a heap of unnecessary extras.⁠

Although I’ll probably be the face you see the most around here, Cura definitely isn’t a one-woman show 🤍

None of this would be possible without my sister and co-owner, Kayla, who we’ll properly introduce very soon, my brother in law, Allan, who has spent countless hours helping bring our little clinic to life, and of course our smallest (and arguably most important) site supervisor 😂

There’s so much love, time and work going on behind the scenes, and it’s pretty special watching Cura slowly become real 🌿

And yes…it is looking so much better than this now 😂

Our machine is officially here, the plumbing is in, and our little clinic is starting to look more and more real every day. We promise there will be walls soon! 😅
