VAD NOW LEGAL THROUGHOUT AUSTRALIA .

Last night, the Northern Territory Parliament passed voluntary assisted dying legislation.

But, like South Australia, there's a gag clause that prevents medical professionals from starting conversations about VAD.

Here in Toowoomba though, we love starting important conversations! Last year, VAD was one of Death Expo Toowoomba's most popular sessions. We're doing it again, so your questions will be answered by experts in the field.

What an amazing story! Voluntary Assisted Dying was featured on ABC's Australian Story this week.

It was a thought-provoking and heartfelt story about a mother and wife with MND who chose to live the last two of her life her way. Part of that was choosing how and when to die.

VAD is a topic that be addressed at the Death Expo on October 17. If you've got any questions after watching The Final Act, they'll be answered by a professional panel at the Expo.
